Jahdé Marley is a Brooklyn based Sommelier, Bartender, and self proclaimed flavor junkie. Through writing, education, and community events, she celebrates the cultures that contribute joy and complexity to this lived experience via wine, spirits, and spice. Jahdé is actively working to disrupt the beverage industry from a space of love for people and cultural ownership, collaborating with organizations like Industry Sessions and The Hue Society. She documents the intersection of wine, spirits, sustainability and anthropology with a focus on natural wine and rum. Jahdé is the founder of 'By the Hand', a multi-faceted beverage platform contributing to the intersection of agricultural and social revolution by focusing on lesser represented communities, regions, grapes and fruit ferments. She currently work in sales, import, and distribution with Zev Rovine Selections.
